| Independent Lamp Operation |
| Applies to lighting ballasts which operate two or more lamps and are equipped with Open Lamp Shutdown, End of Lamp Life Shutdown, and Poor Electrical Connection Shutdown features. Amtek lighting ballasts with Independent Lamp Operation can shut down one lamp independently of other lamp(s) operated by the ballast. In the event that one lamp fails due to damage or end of lamp life, it will be individually shut down, and the remaining lamp(s) will continue operating. Without Independent Lamp Operation, all lamps are extinguished in the event of a protective shutdown. |
